Services Offered

Full Psychiatric Assessment: Designed to diagnose emotional, behavioral, or developmental conditions or disorders. This may include screening tools, reviewing past records for both mental and physical health, and/or input from family and friends.

Treatment Plans:  A plan to get from where you are to where you want to be. The patient is included in making decisions about their plan and making changes as needed.

Medication Management – The process of prescribing and overseeing the medications for the patient to ensure they are taken properly and achieving their planned, therapeutic outcome.

Psycho-education:  Educating the patient on medications they are taking, their diagnosis, and therapy goals. This empowers the patient to accept the diagnosis and cope in a successful manner.

Therapeutic Approach and Interventions: To help resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.

Tele-Psychiatry:  You do not have to leave your home to see your mental health provider.  Sheryl will come to you, virtually.  All you need is an internet connection and a device with a camera and speaker.  It can be as simple as your smartphone!  In order to have the best connection, and to avoid interruption, please be connected to Wifi/internet.  If you connect using cellular phone service only - this signal is generally not strong enough to continue an encrypted video call with Sheryl.  Check with your insurance plan to make sure that they will cover a telehealth visit to your provider.  Most do, but some don't.
